Water Academy

The Water Academy provides Soquel Creek Water District customers and community leaders a rare opportunity to learn about the District’s water systems through interactive, behind-the-scenes tours and staff presentations.

Participants leave the Academy with a deeper understanding of how the District manages, operates, and maintains our facilities. Topics include water treatment and distribution, investments in infrastructure, water challenges, finances, monitoring and testing, community programs, and more.

Upon successfully completing the Academy, participants are considered District Water Ambassadors, who are better able to educate their communities on these important local water issues.

Participants are expected to attend ALL sessions for completion of the program.
