Residents in the Mid-County area of Santa Cruz County -- including the Santa Cruz Mountains, Live Oak, Soquel, Aptos, La Selva Beach and Seascape -- are invited to a key meeting on the future of local water supplies hosted by the Santa Cruz Mid-County Groundwater Agency and Groundwater Sustainability Plan Advisory Committee.
Water customers, farmers, and private well owners in the Mid-County area are encouraged to attend the meeting to hear information critical to the future of local water supplies, including:
- Introduction to groundwater sustainability planning
- History of water challenges and proposed solutions in the Mid-County region
- Discussion of projects currently under review
