Proposed Order No. R3-2023-0033:
On September 11, 2023, the Central Coast Regional Water Quality Control Board (Central Coast Water Board) issued a public notice regarding accepting comments on proposed Order No. R3-2023-0033, Waste Discharge and Water Reclamation Requirements for the Pure Water Soquel Groundwater Replenishment Reuse Project, Soquel Creek Water District (Permit). The Soquel Creek Water District is developing Pure Water Soquel to produce advanced treated recycled water for injection to the Santa Cruz Mid-County groundwater basin. The Soquel Creek Water District will later extract a portion of the recycled water for potable use.
Comments are due by 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 11, 2023 to the Central Coast Water Board. The proposed Permit will be considered for adoption at the Central Coast Water Board's meeting scheduled for December 14-15, 2023.

On September 12, 2023, the Central Coast Board issued a public notice regarding accepting comments on proposed Order No. R3-2023-0001, Waste Discharge Requirements and National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) order for City of Santa Cruz Wastewater Treatment Facility (Permit).
Comments are due by 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 12, 2023. The proposed Permit will be considered for adoption at the Central Coast Water Board's meeting scheduled for December 14-15, 2023.
