During our four-part community education series, participants will get a firsthand look at two District water facilities (groundwater well and monitoring well) as well as a two talks. Our 2017 topics will cover water supply production, water quality, water conservation, basin overdraft, seawater intrusion, and regional management efforts.
Soquel Creek Water District Open House

Join us for an open house!
Come on down to District Headquarters to learn about Soquel Creek Water District. The open house will feature the following:
Welcome Station – Guests check in, get a map and name tag
Conservation Station – Guests will learn about the rain catchment system at headquarters, rebates offered and ways to save water
Community Water Plan Station – Guests will see our groundwater model in action, learn about groundwater and our challenges of an overdrafted groundwater basin and seawater intrusion, get an overview of the Community water plan and the four supplemental supply options the District is evaluating.
Pure Water Soquel Station – Guests will learn about Pure Water Soquel, how it fits into the Community Water plan and get a tour of the new Education Trailer.
Rosedale Well Station - Guests will tour the well house, learn how the well works, see the tanks and treatment process.
Water Quality Station – Guests will learn how we monitor the quality of their water, what we test for and go over the 2016 water quality report
Social Station – Snacks and refreshments will be provided and staff will be available to chat and answer questions
