The Soquel Creek Water District provides a work environment that focuses on assuring a safe and reliable water supply in an environmentally sensitive manner while maintaining the highest level of service to District customers. The District's staff consists of approximately 42 employees assigned to five departments: Administration, Engineering, Financial/Business Services, Conservation/Field Customer Service, and Operations and Maintenance.

Applications must be received by 5:00 p.m. on the closing date as listed on the Employment Opportunity Notice. Postmarks and faxes will not be accepted.

All applications will be reviewed and a limited number of candidates presenting the most relevant qualifications for the position will be invited to continue in the selection process. The process consists of interviews with District staff and may include testing.

All offers of employment are contingent on proof of a good driving record and successful completion of a District paid physical. The District paid physical examination includes physical abilities testing as appropriate for the position and drug and alcohol testing as required for safety sensitive classifications. Some positions may require a satisfactory background investigation as well.
