Art on Display

The Soquel Creek Water District is proud to display artwork by local artists in our hall gallery. The art is on display to the public during business hours 8am-12pm and 1pm-5pm. There is a lobby and board room display.  Please ask about viewing the art hallway at the front desk. For information regarding this program, contact Vai Campbell at 831-475-8501 ext. 142.  All artwork is hung using Arakawa Hanging System

Featured Artist:  Student Art Exhibit - Kimberly Hardin's Art School

The Kimberly Hardin Studio and school are located in Aptos and have been offering fine art instruction since 1998.  They offer a creative space for children to learn more about fine art.  Their students participate in numerous events throughout Santa Cruz County.

They offer fine art instruction for students from K-12.  Classes meet after school, once a week, throughout the school year.  They also offer various art camps and projects in the summer.

They have an extensive advanced teen / young adult program including a summer trip each year.  Last year they spent one week at Pigeon Point Lighthouse painting and enjoying nature.  This summer they will be spending a week in San Francisco exploring art and culture.  Each day will be filled with private gallery tours, drawing classes, art restorations, theater, and more.

They also offer a Wednesday night adult class for all levels.  Their year runs August 10th to June 10th with daily ongoing classes.  Their summer classes will begin June 29th.  Small camps, including art and food pairing and 2-hour classes, will be offered.  Please stop in their art studio at 113 Venetian anytime, they are located at Rio Del Mar Beach next to Pixie Deli.  Visit them online at http://www.khaf.org.

Some of the art in this exhibit is for sale.  Their students are also showing at the Santa Cruz Art League high school show from April 30th to May 23rd.
