Saving water is important,
especially in Santa Cruz County. Washing machines have become the single largest user of
water in homes today, so finding a way to save up to 50 percent of the water used for
clothes washing is big news! That’s why Soquel Creek Water District is offering
$100 rebates to our residential and $200 for commercial customers who purchase and install
ENERGY
STAR
qualified high efficiency washing machines.
Also
check for additional rebates on your new washer from PG&E. Since high efficiency washing machines are
relatively new in the United States, Soquel Creek Water District will be interested in
your opinions about your new machine. Don’t be surprised if we contact you during the

Check out the program
eligibility requirements on the back of the application before purchasing your washing machine to
make sure you qualify for a credit. This program is available to all qualified customers of
the Soquel Creek Water District. But, funding is limited. Applications are accepted on a
first-come, first-served basis until allocated funds are exhausted.
