trust is very important to us. This notice explains the
District’s privacy policies for its internet use and our
commitment to protecting your privacy online.
Please note that the Soquel Creek Water District web site contains links

site, you are no longer on our web site and are subject to

Creek Water District is not responsible for the practices or

If you are simply browsing our site, we do not gather any

usefulness of our web site.

enroll in the Soquel Creek Water Online Bill Pay program,

send us e-mail or contact us by telephone or in person.
If you contact us via e-mail or otherwise, you will

We use links throughout our site to provide you with the
opportunity to contact us via e-mail to ask questions, request
information, sign up for direct payment, make changes to your
account, or provide comments and suggestions. You may also be
offered the opportunity to have one of our representatives
contact you personally to provide additional information. To
do so, we will require personally identifying information from
you, such as your e-mail address, name, telephone number,
account number, and/or credit card number to help us satisfy
your request. By contacting us via these means, you consent to

those employees who have a need to know or respond to your
requests will have access to the information you provide.

personally identifying information to third parties
We do not share, provide or sell personally identifying
information to third parties for the purpose of telemarketing,
e-mail or direct mail solicitation.
We may, at our option,
provide or otherwise disclose personally identifying data you
have voluntarily provided to comply with the law, legal
process or to collect unpaid bills, or to resolve customer
disputes or inquiries.
5. Cookies
Cookies
are small text files used on a web site to recognize a repeat
visitor to its site. Cookies are not programs that penetrate a
user’s system and damage files. The District does not use
cookies except for the online BillPay*
portion of the web site. Cookies are used then only for
application purposes and as part of the authentication
process. These cookies do not store sensitive information and
disappear as soon as you sign out of the BillPay*
program.

This web site uses industry standard SSL (Secured Sockets
Layer) to offer secure communications by encrypting all data
to and from the site.
