Well Master Plan Draft Environmental Impact Report

The Draft Environmental Impact Report for the Soquel Creek Water District (SqCWD) Well Master Plan (Draft EIR) was published on September 1, 2010 and is available for public review and comment through October 16, 2010. Additionally, a Public Hearing will be held on October 5, 2010 at 7:00 p.m.

Soquel Creek Water District's Board of Directors approved the Indoor and Landscape Water Use Efficiency Ordinances at the public meeting on August 17, 2010.

In Response to Economy, District Cuts Budget by Over 25%

In response to the current economic crisis and customer comments during last November’s public hearing about rates, the District’s Board of Directors has approved reductions to the current fiscal year budget totaling $5.3 million. Both operating costs and capital improvement expenditures for the current fiscal year, which ends on June 30, 2010, were scrutinized and reduced.
