The
Soquel Creek Water District sponsors water education
assemblies for schools in our service area (Soquel, Capitola, Aptos and La Selva
Beach). Each school can choose one FREE show per year. At this
time schools can choose between two very entertaining and
talented groups; ZunZun and EarthCapades. Both groups present
concepts about water conservation, pollution prevention,
watersheds and the hydrologic cycle through their unique and
theatrical stage shows.
ZunZun
performs
original songs about water with instruments from around the
world. ZunZun will get the students up on stage helping to
make the music of the rain, dancing to the drought limbo and
leaving the performance singing “Drip Drop has got to
stop.” See www.zunzuntunes.com
for details. Shows are available from January to June.
Fax enclosed form or call (831) 426-0684 for available
dates.
EarthCapades,
presents
"environmental vaudeville" with humor, juggling,
unicycle riding, magic and stilt walking all backed with a
compelling slide show about water issues. Students learn about
water science,
ecology, and practical steps students can take to conserve
Planet Earth’s most precious natural resource, WATER.
